Terms of Service

Last updated: March 26, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of the services provided by District Rapid Towing (“District Rapid Towing”), including our website at https://districtrapidtowing.com/ and all towing, roadside assistance, and related services.

1. Service Agreement

By requesting our services (via phone, website, or any other means), you agree to these Terms. We offer a wide range of services, including but not limited to towing, roadside assistance, vehicle recovery, jump starts, lockout services, tire changes, and fuel delivery.

2. Service Authorization

By requesting service, you represent that you are the vehicle owner or have authorization from the owner to request towing or roadside services. You agree to provide accurate information about your vehicle, location, and situation.

3. Pricing and Payment

  • We provide upfront pricing before any work begins.
  • The quoted price is the price you pay unless the scope of work changes (which requires your approval).
  • We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, and insurance billing.
  • Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements are made.
  • If insurance is billed directly, you are responsible for any amounts not covered by your policy.

4. Damage-Free Guarantee

We guarantee damage-free service on all standard tows and roadside assists. If our operator causes damage to your vehicle during service, we will cover the cost of repair. This guarantee does not apply to pre-existing damage or damage caused by conditions beyond our control (e.g., road conditions, weather, mechanical failure during transport).

5. Liability Limitations

  • Our liability is limited to the fair market value of the vehicle or the cost of repair, whichever is less.
  • We are not responsible for personal property left in vehicles during towing.
  • We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, accidents, or other circumstances beyond our control.
  • You are responsible for securing and removing all personal items from your vehicle before and after service.

6. Vehicle Storage

If your vehicle is towed to our facility, storage fees may apply after the first 24 hours. Storage rates will be communicated at the time of service. Vehicles left for more than 30 days may be considered abandoned and processed according to applicable DC, Maryland, or Virginia law.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel a service request at any time before our truck arrives at no charge. If our truck has already arrived or work has begun, we may charge you for the dispatch fee.

8. Insurance Claims

We work with most major insurance companies and can bill your insurer directly with your authorization. You are responsible for ensuring your policy covers the service requested. Any amounts not covered by insurance are your responsibility.

9. Private Property Towing

For private property towing services, we operate in compliance with all applicable DC, Maryland, and Virginia towing laws. Vehicle owners may retrieve their vehicles during business hours by providing valid identification and paying applicable fees.

10. Website Use

We provide our website for informational purposes. While we strive to keep information accurate and up-to-date, we make no warranties about the completeness or accuracy of website content. Service availability, pricing, and response times may vary.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of the District of Columbia.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
